Experience
I'm a Lead Dev on the NetDevOps team at Bouygues Télécom, working on network automation around Cisco NSO. I put most of my energy into making sure the developers on my team spend the bulk of their time on high-value business work, and as little as possible on repetitive, low-value tasks.
Background
- Bouygues Télécom — NetDevOps, then Lead Dev (2021–today), network automation around Cisco NSO
- SFR — Core network / Netops engineer (2013–2021), network automation in Python (REST/SOAP APIs, config and audit scripts) on the IP core and backbone

Automation
I automate as much as possible, mostly through GitLab CI.
- Releases — fully automated, infra-as-code production releases for NSO packages, driven by a single YAML source of truth
- Onboarding — cut new developer onboarding from ~4 hours down to under 5 minutes with a DevContainer-based development environment
- nem — designed (built with AI assistance) the NSO Environment Manager, a tool to easily spin up NSO environments and keep a dev environment up to date (checking the Git status of dependant package repos, etc.), easing the delivery process for the developers on my team
- Dashboard — built (with AI assistance, in Svelte) a dashboard that lists in-progress work with each merge request next to its linked Jira ticket on a single page, so developers don't have to go through Jira for something that brings them no added value, and to keep Jira and MR status in sync, giving managers and higher levels better visibility on KPIs
- ZTP — built an HTTP server with FastAPI for the zero-touch provisioning of network equipment and the tracking of its rollout
Python tooling
On every Python project, I default to uv instead of the "manual" venv, pip + requirements.txt for dependency management, virtual environments, and packaging.
I also pay close attention to code quality, using tools like ruff and mypy (soon to be replaced by ty on our projects).
